The Rev. Tricia Leonard-Pasley
`For unto you a child is born!’
Has this ever happened to you?
It happened to me 5 times! And, it has happened to lots of women,

December 3, 2017: Beware
Beware, keep alert; for you do not know when the time will come.
In our house, we have three cats. Peaches and Herb, and Senor.
One of them, Herbie, is profoundly deaf.
Jesus was no teller of cozy bedtime stories;

Changing our lives forever.
I suspect the woman in this story was having such a moment,
when she made the decision to anoint Jesus in front of a disapproving crowd.

If you knew you had only one more night to live –
What would you do? What would you say?
Who would you want to say it to?
Jesus has one last night, just one,
to finish saying everything he wants to say to the scrappy rag-tag army
